Michael Ward, MS, is an EMDR-trained therapist who works with adults, ages 16 +, seeking relief from anxiety, stress, trauma-related symptoms, and patterns that feel difficult to break. He supports clients in moving beyond feeling stuck by addressing the deeper experiences and nervous system responses that shape how they cope, helping them reconnect with their inner strength and capacity for resilience. Michael has experience working with individuals navigating life transitions, relationship challenges, and long-standing coping patterns that may no longer serve them. He brings a calm, compassionate presence to therapy and works collaboratively with clients to ensure they feel heard, respected, and supported as they work toward meaningful and sustainable change.
Michael’s approach goes beyond traditional talk therapy, integrating EMDR, Flash Technique, and other evidence-based methods to help clients process difficult experiences in a way that feels natural and empowering. He is especially passionate about helping clients develop healthier ways of relating to stress, emotions, and themselves, allowing them to step more fully into their lives with clarity, confidence, and a renewed sense of agency. A note from Michael: Every person is the hero of their life’s journey. Yet past traumas and future worries can feel like obstacles on your path, keeping you from fully stepping into the life you are meant to lead. I provide a supportive space where your story is met with compassion and respect. I also believe in going beyond talk therapy by helping clients process experiences in a way that allows the mind to heal naturally.
